Grace has been busy collecting straws over the last few weeks. The girls decided they would make something with all the straws. They made a fantastic 'Straw City' that they shared with the class. Well done girls!
Our optional extra for homework this week was to make something out of paper to share with the class. Look at all the great things we made!
Today Miss Hill taught us about video conferencing. We got to talk to a class in Japan! It was very exciting!
We have a new college teacher for the next three weeks. Her name is Miss Gill and it is lovely to have her in Room 11!
The sun is shining and it is important to remember to bring our sunhats to school everyday this term. We even made some cool posters for homework to remind us!
This term we have been learning how to write poetry. We have been using our senses and lots of descriptive language to make our poems exciting! We wrote this cool poem together:
George's cat O.P. was unable to visit school on Pet Day so he had his own special visit. George has told us lots about his cat and it was great to meet him!
Today was 'Pet Day'. In our classroom we had dogs, frogs, tadpoles, hens, a caterpillar and a bird as well as a friendly monkey, leopard, cat, penguin and shark! Check out our great photos...
